On the other hand, what if a verbal prompt doesn’t help? Maybe ekphrasis is a strategy you could try. Ekphrasis involves responding to something visual and vivid, like a painting or a photograph, in writing. All you need is an image or a set of images to get started, and we just happen to have one right here.
